As the economic uncertainty remains, companies of any size will be digging even deeper to look at ways in which they can reduce costs. Manufacturers are aware of this and 2012 will see the emergence of new digital print technology and services that will minimize print related expenditure and improve productivity even further, particularly in the area of office colour printing. More and more we will see device functionality increase and a refinement in areas such as mobile print.
With so many print companies having jumped on the managed print services bandwagon, 2012 will see this buzz continue as more companies become receptive to this service and the spotlight will ultimately fall on those suppliers that are able to deliver compared to those that do not have the internal infrastructure and knowledge simply falling by the wayside. This will travel across into the area of service delivery as customers are no longer willing to accept anything but first class service and support.
