Xerox's Automated Document Classification (ADC) solutions have enabled attorneys to prepare for legal and regulatory proceedings in a more efficient manner, according to a study.
The document review technology helps to boost the quality of the process as well as save money.
About 72% of 112 attorneys who responded to the survey by the firm said ADC solutions helped them save time, while 64% described the technology as cost-efficient.
Some 53% said it facilitates better budget planning, while 46% said it offers more accurate results.
Randall Burrows, vice president and general manager of Xerox Litigation Services, said: "Using new technologies like automated document classification can make document review easier, faster and more accurate.
"Clients that use automated document classification are better able to manage the increased volumes of data in e-discovery. The result: they save time and money and can put less resources on document review and more focus on creating winning legal strategies."
