ANZ resellers to get sales training

Fuji Xerox will introduce a new sales training programme for its resellers in the Australian and New Zealand (ANZ) market.

The print solutions provider is set to offer streamline training sessions to its partners in New Zealand beginning in April this year. The training sessions, which are already used in Europe and the United States, will attempt to re-establish basic sales techniques and increase familiarity with products.

The new training programme comes off the back of a recent social media push by the company. Fuji Xerox launched an ANZ-focused blog in December 2011 and recently established a user group on LinkedIn targeted at 80 specialist resellers in the New Zealand market.

Anthony Toope, ANZ marketing and channel operations manager at Fuji Xerox, said vendors sometimes lose sight of the basics. He said: "To some extent we need to keep the process of selling simple. Basic sales training and supporting our resellers is what we want to get back to and where we see we can add value. That's what our resellers are asking for."
