A number of Epson products will soon carry the iF logo after it was recognised by the iF Product Design Award 2010.
The coveted logo will be seen on items including the Epson label printer TM-C3400, the multifunctional printer Epson Stylus Photo PX650 and the Epson EB projector series (EB-S8, EB-X8, EB-W8), which were selected from among 2,486 entries for this year's award.
They will be placed on a shortlist for the Design Oscar, at the 2010 iF Gold Awards to be held in March.
For 56 years, the iF Product Design Award has been perceived as an internationally recognised trademark for outstanding design.
The forum awards honours evaluated on design quality, workmanship, choice of materials, degree of innovation, environmental friendliness, functionality, ergonomics, visualisation of use, safety, brand value and universal design.
Executive director at Epson Europe Robert Clark said: "To win awards for such a variety of products illustrates the depth and consistency of design excellence Epson is achieving. We are proud to receive the IF Product Design Award and hope to be elected for the iF Gold Awards in March 2010."
