Briggs Equipment, a firm that caters to material handling and servicing needs, are planning to equip its offices with five Xerox ColourQube 9200 printer ink devices.
With the help of the new solid ink colour multifunction printers, the company is hoping to cut its overall printing costs as well as reduce its carbon footprint.
The Staffordshire-based firm has decided to adopt Xerox's ColourQube 9200 devices mainly because of their efficiency and reliability.
Tony Whitehouse, print mailroom operator at Briggs Equipment, said: "The Xerox ColourQube printers have enabled us to produce a whole range of documents more effectively and efficiently.
"The cost savings offered by the Xerox ColourQube devices currently stand at over £3,000 per year."
Recently, Xerox and the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) were honoured with the Public Sector Project of the Year for 2011.
Xerox helped the DWP to make its printer efficiency more sustainable. The partnership was honoured at the Green IT Awards.
During the project, Xerox replaced more than 30,000 single-function printer ink devices with less than 8,200 multi-function products that could print, copy, fax and scan all from one place.
