Firm hails HP Designjet advantage

A German printing firm says it has secured several high-profile contracts thanks to its investment in an HP Designjet L25500 printer.

Installed as a replacement for an older solvent machine, the new L25500 now allows large-format printing specialist Mtex to print on "anything and everything".

The Hamburg-based company has benefited not just from the machine's latex ink technology that provides superior quality photographic output, but also its simplified operation.

Since installing the HP machine, the firm has won new graphics and print orders including from Porsche and gallery Photohaus.

Mtex owner Heiko Goetz said: "We have not found anything that it can't print without stunning results. Anyone who runs more than a pure copyshop will love this machine."
