Fuji Xerox triumphs at green awards
Fuji Xerox has triumphed at the METI Minister Awards for the 11th year in a row, it has been revealed.
Eight of the company's printer models were awarded the grand prize in the Energy Conservation category, which it first won in 1999 with its DocuColor 1250 series.
This year, four of the winning devices which copy, print, scan and fax all in one multifunctional device, were part of the firm's ApeosPort-IV series and another four were from the DocuCentre-IV series.
Fuji Xerox, whose printers are popular for office-use, said its new Induction Heating fuser and EA Eco Toner make its technologies energy efficient when copying, faxing and printing by reducing electrical consumption.
