Hewlett-Packard has announced the launch of new cutting edge servers.
They have been designed to help firms deploy virtualised workloads more quickly by coming pre-configured with Microsoft software.
Hewlett-Packard's Jeff Carlat said the firm's new VirtualSystem for Microsoft includes HP servers and Microsoft's Hyper-V virtualisation software, and will help customers to rapidly deploy applications such as SharePoint, Exchange Server and SQL Server.
The firm's Insight Control and Microsoft System Centres can manage the virtual workloads, hardware and other resources.
Mr Carlat said that the servers will provide a path to help customers build private and public clouds, and link the two in a form of hybrid cloud.
