Computer firm Hewlett-Packard has signed up world-renowned US rapper and music producer Dr Dre to star in a new $40 million (£25m) advertising campaign.
The Grammy Award winner follows the example set by rapper Jay-Z, who in 2006 appeared in a similar commercial for the company.
Fans of Dr Dre will be able to see him working on his much-anticipated third album using the HP Envy 15 Beats laptop, which was launched last year with the help of the record executive.
Other luminaries who have filmed shots for the Hewlett-Packard advert are Flight of the Conchords comedian Rhys Darby and fashion photographer Annie Leibovitz.
Last May a clip from one of Dr Dre's new record was showcased in a Dr Pepper commercial.
