HP has added a new service suite to its Managed Print Services division, enabling businesses to manage and monitor their printing operations.
Using the Smart Decision Suite, administrators will be able to keep track of the status and activity of local printers.
The new server will come with an updated version of Jetadmin, allowing administrators to configure and manage USB printers alongside network-connected machines.
HP, which had previously signed a deal with Research In Motion to design a tool for Blackberry users, has now released an ePrint application.
This software allows Blackberry users to access and print documents both through business networks and HP's PrinterOn public printer network. They will also be able to print documents through FedEx Office.
HP has also launched a pack, known as Enterprise Production Print Services, which offers range of services from document storage and archiving to printing and distribution.
In addition, the company released a new software platform - called Exstream - developed to manage documents and data.
Equipped with Command Center tool and an Application Manager, the platform allows users to view data sharing and compliance.
