HP has been chosen to become a major IT contractor for another department in the US Government.
The US Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) picked out HP Enterprise Services for the Transformation Twenty-One Total Technology (T4) scheme.
As a result of the new five-year deal, HP is primed to provide IT services across the US department and compete for further opportunities as they arise.
This will include helping VA to modernise and improve access to benefits and healthcare for soldier veterans.
HP has also been awarded the Enrollment Modernization Technical Support task order by the Veterans Relationship Management (VRM) and Information Technology Solutions and Support Services (ITSS).
Meanwhile, under the multiple-award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract, which is worth £623 million, HP will get the chance to bid to provide additional advanced technology solutions.
