HP has announced the launch of two new Designjet printers - the 104in-wide L28500 and the 61in L26500 - both of which use new HP 792 Latex Designjet Inks.
The L28500 is nearly 70% faster than the L25500, while the other new printer - the L26500 - is marketed as a device suitable for soft-signage, according to the firm.
The new ink offers a "consistent, reliable performance" by creating rich blacks and a glossier finish on self-adhesive vinyl and banners, according to HP.
They are capable of double-sided printing where intervention from the operator is limited.
