HP invites entries for print awards

Hewlett-Packard (HP) has announced that companies across Asia Pacific and Japan can submit their entries for the 2011 Digital Print Awards.

The HP Digital Print Awards - HP Scitex, launched last year, aims to honour the outstanding achievements and contributions of Print Service Providers (PSPs) in the signage industry.

The awards ceremony will be held on July 6 this year, together with the 19th Shanghai International Ad & Sign Technology & Equipment Exhibition.

Martin Carballo, director of HP Scitex, Graphic Solutions Business, Imaging and Printing Group, HP Asia Pacific and Japan, said: "The HP Digital Print Awards - HP Scitex competition that was launched last year was a major success for us as we received more than 100 stunning entries from across the region.

"We hope that through the annual Awards we can help to inspire other PSPs in the signage industry to break new frontiers in digital printing excellence and respond to their client's brief in new and exciting creative ways."
