Hewlett-Packard (HP) has launched its smallest colour laser multifunction printer (MFP), offering printing, copying, faxing, and scanning capabilities.
The LaserJet Pro 100 colour MFP M175nw printer is targeted at small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), promising time and cost-saving features.
The device - which measures 33x44x32cm and weighs about 18.8kg - supports Ethernet and Wi-Fi connections, allowing firms to share it in a workgroup.
The product is also power-efficient, thanks to its Auto-Off and Instant-on Technology. It can adjust power settings automatically depending on print activity.
The model is also compatible with HP's new ePrint mobile printing service, which enables users to print from a smartphone, notebook or other mobile device by sending print commands to the machine through email.
According to Robert Dinkelacker, the company's LaserJet marketing manager for EMEA, the M175nw will help small businesses to match quality and professionalism with big organisation.
The machine can deliver up to 16 pages per minute in black at a resolution of 600dpi, while it is also capable of scanning to PDF, Jpeg, Tiff, Bitmap, or PNG files at 1,200dpi.
Furthermore, it can also offer up to 99 copies of a document in a single batch.
