Hewlett Packard (HP) has announced that its ePrint and cloud-aware printers are compatible with Google Cloud Print, a service that allows users to print through the internet.
Google Cloud Print enables printing from a wide range of Google web and mobile applications from a variety of devices to any printer. It also eliminates the need for print drivers or a PC connection.
In order to reap the benefit of the new service, customers just need to add their HP ePrint-enabled devices - Photosmart, Officejet, Officejet Pro or LaserJet Pro - to their Google account with the printer's unique email address.
Stephen Nigro, senior vice president in the imaging and printing group at HP, said: "Making it easy for our customers to print where and how they want is a top priority for HP.
"With HP ePrint and cloud-aware printers, you get the best experience printing via Google Cloud Print."
During the Unlocking Your Energy event in San Francisco, the firm introduced its new cost-effective products including EcoSmart devices and ink services.
