HP offers new eco-friendly products

Hewlett-Packard has introduced a wide range of environmentally friendly products, promising enhanced performance and reliability.

The company announced its latest desktop computers, thin clients and monitors which are specifically designed for business users.

HP said: "These products provide energy efficiency, offer reliable manageability and set the foundation for future desktop and virtual computing environments that provide customers a boost in productivity and their bottom line."

The new desktop PCs are the HP Compaq 8200 Elite, 6200 Pro, 4000 Pro and 100B. These machines promise advanced computing power, delivering improved control, consistency and connectivity.

Meanwhile, the HP t5550, t5565 and t5570 Thin Clients also have lower impact on the environment, and are well-suited for office applications and web browsing.

And finally, the HP Compaq Business Monitors offer power-saving features and adjustable displays.

Stephen DeWitt, senior vice president and general manager at the firm, said: "HP is the No 1 desktop supplier worldwide - shipping one desktop PC every 1.2 seconds - and this announcement expands our award-winning commercial portfolio with the latest technologies to propel companies forward.
