Design professionals are being offered two new web-connected large-format printers by HP.
The ePrinters are the latest addition to the Designjet series and promise easy, driverless printing, with some models offering PostScript support.
Optimised for larger work groups, the Designjet T1300 comes with 32GB storage memory, two media rolls and smart switching function. It can deliver up to A1/D-sized prints per minute at a maximum resolution of 2400×1200.
The Designjet T790 ePrinter is best suited for the needs of small, mobile technical design teams, offering 8GB of memory and a top-loading roll.
Available in 24in and 44in models, the T790 enables hassle-free printing of complex files in a connected environment.
The ePrinter allows direct print and scan from the web, without the need for a computer, with the help of a large colour touchscreen interface.
Users can print directly from a USB memory stick or a plugged-in laptop without installing drivers. They can also give print commands remotely from a computer or a smartphone.
