HP website finds digital printers

A website detailing printers that use Hewlett Packard (HP) equipment is intended to help print buyers ensure consistent standards of service and levels of quality.

The PSP Network lists 1,400 print firms across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) that use wide-format Scitex, Designjet and Indigo cut-sheet and roll-fed digital presses.

Says Francois Martin, HP EMEA graphic solutions business marketing director: "Digital printing offers great benefits to end users. The challenge is that print buyers often don't know where to find digital print service providers. The PSP Network is an ideal and accessible solution."

It is searchable by country, application, city and postcode for printers that can handle business cards, photobooks, POS and POP, exhibition signage, vehicle graphics, billboards, labels and flexible packaging.

HP's US and Asia-Pacific regions are reportedly planning to roll out a similar network.
