Hull firm installs two HP Indigos
Springfield Solutions installed its second HP Indigo WS6000 press in October, in an effort to expand the variety of its added-value packaging solutions.
The label and decoration expert, based in Hull, is now the first printer in the UK to run two of the HP Indigo model presses.
The company, which shifted to digital printing in 1996, has the widest installed base of industrial webstream printing technology in the country.
Springfield Solutions has made use of a number of HP devices such as a WS4000 and WS4050, as well as a WS4500 purchased in 2008.
According to HP, the Indigo WS6000 can print as much as 30 metres per minute for 4-colour jobs. It can produce up to 90,000m2 per month on single daily shifts, with the press accommodating repeat lengths of 317×980 mm.
