A new study, sponsored by Xerox, has suggested methods that can be adopted by companies to cut back on printer ink costs.
Firms can enhance printing efficiency by introducing significant changes to organisational productivity, environmental sustainability and storage, among other areas.
Amanda Abernethy, director and general manager in global document outsourcing at Xerox, said: "With a still challenging economy, an ever faster pace of change in business and growing global competitiveness, enterprises need to compete by concentrating on what they do best."
Real Digital International, a print company based in Croydon, announced that its first-half turnover rose 35%, after five new Xerox iGen 4 EXP ink Presses were set up in its offices.
The machines also helped the company provide faster prints and documents for consumers.
