Multivendor integration unveiled
HP Enterprise Services has unveiled a new initiative that helps businesses and governments optimise costs and gain better management and coordination of mutivendor services.
The HP Multi-Supplier Integration (MSI) Service is expected to boost the overall IT performance and quality at large enterprises who combine services from different providers to deliver end products to their customers.
With these multivendor delivery models, firms often find it tough to ensure effective workflow, timely trouble shooting and adequate service-level performance.
The inability to effectively streamline the various services can result in below-par IT performance and added costs.
The HP MSI Service is expected to improve supplier management by liaising effectively between suppliers and internal delivery teams, thereby easing multivendor environment complexities and keeping costs in check.
HP Enterprise Services official Rhonda Vetere said: "Clients are embracing hybrid delivery models that increase complexity with traditional and new 'as a service' offerings from multiple suppliers."
"The HP MSI Service provides the tools, processes and personnel to effectively manage multi-supplier delivery and the governance to drive continuous service quality improvement."
