New paper for printing fine art

New paper designed for the printing of fine art which has set a new standard for the market has been produced by Epson.

Epson has announced four new fine art papers which are Cold Press Bright, Cold Press Natural, Hot Press Bright and Holt Press Natural.

The new papers, which recognise that professional photographers and artists need a variety of media to produce or archive their work, are optimised for use with Epson UltraChrome ink technology.

Epson resellers are stocking the paper in a wide range of sizes. Rolls will be on sale in early 2010, and cut sheets (A3+ and A2) are now available. The paper will be on sale early in 2010.

Senior product manager for Epson UK Martin Johns said: "We've had some of the world's most demanding photographers testing this outstanding new range in combination with Epson professional printers, and they are telling us that the results achieved are the closest thing yet to original pieces of art."
