HP has announced two new printers, HP Officejet Pro 8500A e-All-in-One series and HP Officejet 7500A Wide Format e-All-in-One, the world's first wide-format all-in-one with web connectivity.
The web-connected printers, designed specifically for micro and small businesses, include HP ePrint and print apps, which will enable users to send print jobs from any mobile device as well as directly access content from the web without a PC.
Gary Tierney, country manager for HP Image and Printing Group, Ireland, said: "We are making web-connected printing the new industry standard - first for consumers, and now for small business.
"With the addition of HP ePrint technology and HP print apps to these new HP business inkjet printers, small businesses can significantly improve their productivity - both in the office and on the go."
With the HP ePrint technology, users can print important email and office documents while away from desk, by sending the material to a web-connected printer using any device with an internet connection, without the need for any printing software.
