Print firm buys four new machines

Growing demand has led print firm Repropoint to install four new machines at premises in south-east England.

Two Xerox Nuvera 120EA mono printers and an HP Designjet L25500 wide-format printer have been bought.

Costing a total of £250,000, the equipment will be used among its four sites: in Guildford, Portsmouth, Southampton and Woking.

The Nuvera printers allow the firm to expand its high-volume mono services, such as printing manuals.

The Designjet L25500 is a wide-format printer which can run off posters, banners and other large-format graphics. It uses latex ink, allowing the machine to print graphics for vehicles, window exteriors, PVC banners, labels and stickers.

Repropoint's Mike Webb said the purchases mean the firm can help clients "get more from their print budgets without sacrificing quality".

He added: "Using our digital printing capabilities we rapidly expanded into the marketing and training sectors, producing manuals and marketing collateral for many well-known corporates and pharmaceutical companies and offering short-run, high-quality printing at an economical price."
