Printer Scarbutts has invested in a new Xerox 700 to meet rising demand for variable data work.
The Kent-based company, which has 19 staff, replaced its ageing DocuColor 250, which had notched up two million impressions since installation.
Scarbutts, which turns over £1.5 million per year producing work for local authorities, the electronics industry and SMEs, acquired the 700 machine from First Choice Business Systems.
Managing director Graham Baker said: "We do varied work on the Xerox 700. A lot of it is short-run instruction manuals, as well as user guides and football programmes, business cards and posters.
"We had the DC250 for four years and it gave us sterling service, so when it came for replacement, Xerox was our first choice. Installation was quick and our staff only needed a couple of hours of instruction to get up to speed with the new model."
