A new agreement with the Scottish Government has enabled printing services provider APS Group to open a new Operations and Document Management centre in Edinburgh.
According to the Stockport-based firm, the £500,000 centre at Leith will help to support as many as 65 full-time jobs.
The 26,000 sq ft premise, which the family-owned firm acquired through the deal, has been completely refurbished.
In an effort to enhance the capacity of the site, the group has also invested in new digital printing and IT equipment.
Established in 1961, APS Group has been operating in Scotland for eight years. The firm, which has a turnover of nearly £40 million, currently employs a total of 500 people.
Allan Doyle, head of APS Scotland, said: "This investment is designed to support the Scottish Government and many of its collaborative partners such as Visit Scotland, Historic Scotland and Highlands and Islands Enterprise. It not only provides the right level of infrastructure, technology and people to deliver the job, but also acts as a springboard for further growth in Scotland."
