Trycket Mora buys HP Scitex LX800

Swedish outdoor and signage printing house Trycket Mora has bought the country's first HP Scitex LX800 printer, it has been announced.

The 126in printer, which speeds up the workflow and cuts costs, will be installed by Trycket Mora to take advantage of its production and environmental benefits.

Mathias Hofvander, CEO, Trycket Mora, said: "Not only do the HP Latex Inks the LX800 uses help reduce environmental impact they also require no ventilation, which will help create a much better working environment."

Trycket Mora, which was founded in 1979 as a screen-printing house, went digital in 2001. It specialises in printing outdoor banners and signage for sporting events and ski resorts.

The HP Scitex LX800 printer, which makes use of water-based HP Latex Inks, is capable of producing high-quality output with 1200dpi resolution and six colour printing.

Producing odourless prints that are perfect for sensitive indoor display environments, it has production speeds of up to 45 sq/m hr for indoor applications and 88 sq/m hr for outdoor billboards.

It can produce stunning image quality for most applications, including POP displays, light boxes, customised wallpaper and vehicle wraps.
