Networking equipment maker Cisco has teamed up with Xerox to bring more cloud computing and print products to their corporate clients.
As part of the partnership, Xerox's printing services will be offered on Cisco's network equipment, while firms can also purchase ink, toner and printers from Xerox.
This will help the company increase its revenue, according to Rick Dastin, president of Xerox's Enterprise Business Group.
The alliance also brings Xerox's mobile print solution to Cisco's Cius business tablets and virtual desktops.
Xerox hopes to boost its revenue with the latest deal, while Cisco said it will help the company bring more services to its customers.
Marie Hattar, Cisco's vice president of Borderless Networks marketing, said: "Our clients used to look elsewhere for printing services and now they don't have to."
John Chambers, chief executive of Cisco, said the alliance will provide an opportunity for its resellers, or firms that sell the networking equipment maker's products to other companies, to increase their revenues. This would in turn prompt resellers to buy more products from Cisco.
