Xerox Color 800 Press on display
Print businesses can view a Fujifilm demonstration to see how they can use the Xerox Color 800 Press to give their products an offset finish at high speed.
The machine delivers top-class image quality at 2400 x 2400 dpi with support for a variety of media types offering printers a great deal of flexibility in terms of workflow management.
The Xerox Color 800's versatility is being showcased by Fujifilm at the Graph Expo show in Chicago with on-site print demonstrations using coated and uncoated papers.
Designed for commercial-scale operations, the high volume press can be used for a range of print jobs from direct mail and collaterals to photo publishing.
It uses the low-melt Emulsion Aggregation (EA) Dry Ink, a Xerox innovation that consumes less energy in the manufacturing process than regular toners.
Fujifilm will also highlight the creative possibilities offered by the optional print station for clear dry ink.
It allows printers to enhance the visual impact of colour prints with spot finishes, artistic effects or add security watermarks.
