Xerox has expanded its wide-format printer line-up with the addition of two new Epson Stylus Pro models.
The Stylus Pro 9900 (610mm) and the Stylus Pro 7900 (1118mm) deliver speeds of up to 40 square metres per hour thanks to doubling of the number of nozzles and increased throughput.
They also boast an upgraded printer mechanism, improved ink formulation and in-built applications well suited for high-end production.
Remote proofing is offered through the optional Epson SpectroProofer technology - a tool for verification and printer calibration.
Alewyn van Staden, wide-format product manager at Bytes Document Solutions, Xerox's authorised distributor for 27 countries in Africa, says the two new printers join "the top end of the Xerox indoor aqueous inkjet product range".
He said: "We offer the combined Xerox/Epson solutions because this offers a best-of-breed aqueous wide-format printer, along with unique Xerox software products, as well as Bytes Document Solutions' first class nationwide sales, service and support."
