Xerox is targeting medium-sized enterprises with its new range of eco-efficient multi-function printers (MFPs).
The WorkCentre 7545 and 7556 combine print functions with tasks such as scanning, copying, fax and e-mail. They offer print rates of up to 55 pages per minute at a resolution of 1200 x 2400 dpi.
USB support on the machines allows documents to be printed directly from storage devices, while users can send scanned files to their PC or e-mail account.
In addition to integrated networking and security tools, the WorkCentre range offers energy saving features such as two-sided printing, toner with higher temperature resistance, and a scanner lamp that consumes a third less power than ones on conventional machines.
Xerox enterprise business group president Rick Dastin said: "Xerox continues to introduce new products that respond to today's fast-paced, changing work environment.
"These new MFPs offer better ways to manage documents, making our customers more productive and efficient, and ultimately, more competitive."
