Xerox has been named a managed print services (MPS) market leader for the second time in succession by analyst research group Quocirca.
The group's "MPS Comes of Age" report has positioned Xerox at the top once again, in recognition of its presence worldwide, along with services that go beyond the workplace. It also took into account its excellence in business process outsourcing and IT outsourcing.
The report looks at the changing MPS trends across Europe, throwing light on the history of Xerox in being a business expert. It also reveals that 100% of Xerox's large enterprise MPS clients have continued to renew their contracts with the company since 2001.
According to Quocirca, Xerox is expected to expand its market leadership next year, thanks to the merging of its own offerings with that of ACS, another Xerox firm.
Louella Fernandes, principal analyst, Quocirca, said: "Xerox's continued leadership position reflects the fact that larger enterprises are increasingly looking for business-process improvement as well as cost savings.
"Xerox's strong market performance can be attributed to extending traditional managed print services across the enterprise to include the office, in-house production print, as well as complementary offerings in business process outsourcing and IT outsourcing."
