Xerox offers improved print server

Xerox has upgraded its FreeFlow Accxes print server, promising better performance than its predecessor.

The improved server is capable of delivering documents such as complex engineering renderings and topographical maps in a faster and easier way.

Business Equipment Research and Test Laboratories (BERTL) honoured Xerox's 6622, 6279, and 6605 devices with five-star exceptional ratings, recognising their superior performance.

Alewyn van Staden, wide-format product manager in the Xerox division at Bytes Document Solutions, said: "These awards are testament to Xerox's commitment to deliver quality, reliability and innovation throughout the portfolio of wide-format solutions."

Arthur Wynne, president of BERTL, said: "Xerox's diverse set of black-and-white wide-format products meets user demands for image quality, productivity, workflow flexibility and ease of use.

"These systems are crucial to the success of the architectural, engineering and construction markets and the print providers that serve them.

"The software tools include the new Xerox FreeFlow Accxes Copy and Indexer, as well as upgrades to Xerox FreeFlow Accxes print server, and each gives users the productivity boost and image quality required to deliver crisp, detailed wide-format documents."
