Xerox's Phaser 6700 colour printer
Xerox has announced the launch of its new Phaser 6700 colour printer, which is aimed at small and medium sized firms.
The new device is capable of printing 47 pages in a minute at a print resolution of 2400 x 1200 dpi.
With the interactive "Color by Words 2.0" technology, desired colour modifications can be chosen by users from a drop-down list of common words.
The new Phaser 6700 colour printer uses the EA-Eco toner from Xerox, where the fusing temperature is lower than traditional toner.
There will also be a 20% cut in power consumption while CO2 emissions are lowered by up to 35%.
The Secure Print feature incorporated into the Phaser 6700 helps ensure the security of sensitive data.
The new Xerox Phaser 6700 colour printer is also equipped with a large, 4.3in colour touch-screen interface and embedded videos to help troubleshoot issues faster.
