Xerox has added a new colour network scanner to its product line-up for business users.
The 3920 boasts a scan rate of 20 pages per minute or 14 images per minute. Its feeder tray can hold up to 50 pages and it is capable of scanning both sides of a document.
Online connectivity is offered through Ethernet and the scanned documents can be shared over multiple platforms, including IT networks, email, FTP locations, fax machines and printers.
The machine, which has been developed by Xerox in association with scanning technology specialist Visioneer, features an LCD touchscreen and a Qwerty keyboard for easy data entry.
Visioneer vice president of marketing John Capurso said: "Direct connect scanners are a vital part of your document capture strategy but now network scanners can meet your shared scanner needs with great efficiency and ease of use."
