Xerox wide format printers awarded

Wide format printing solutions from Xerox have been awarded for their performance, the firm announced.

The awards, given out by Business Equipment Research & Test Laboratories (BERTL), an independent device testing group, featured five of the printer manufacturer's models in the 'Best' and five-star product ratings categories.

Xerox 6279 and 6622 devices both received five-star exceptional product ratings, while the 6604, 6605, 6279 collected BERTL Best awards.

The firm's FreeFlow AccXes Controller, which won a BERTL Best award, was also named Most Innovative Wide Format Printing Controller.

The printers were chosen based on their performance, functionality, and level of print output quality.

Howard Witt, wide format manager, Xerox Europe, said: "These awards are testament to Xerox's commitment to deliver quality, reliability and innovation throughout our portfolio of wide format solutions."

Arthur Wynne, president of BERTL, said: "Xerox's diverse set of black-and-white wide format products meets user demands for image quality, productivity, workflow flexibility and ease of use."
