Xerox wins Cirque du Soleil deal
Xerox has won a contract from Cirque du Soleil, under which the printer and copier maker will offer office equipment and document technology for the Quebec-based entertainment group's touring shows.
The latest deal will see the circus company taking advantage of Xerox's services at its Big Top and Arena Touring shows in the US, Canada and across Europe.
Under the terms of the deal, Xerox will help simplify business processes and document management, as well as help the show develop customised cross-media campaigns to engage new audiences and boost ticket sales.
Cirque du Soleil currently has 5,000 employees, including 1,200 performing artists from close to 50 countries.
The printer and copier maker has also secured similar deals from the New York Mets, the Buffalo Bills and the Xerox Rochester International Jazz Festival.
