Leading healthcare IT solutions specialist XMA, in collaboration with Ergo Group in Ireland, has started a new limited company - XMA Print Solutions.
The new company is set to provide custom-made print solutions, which will help reduce costs and carbon footprint in the healthcare sector.
XMA Print Solutions aims to consolidate devices in a way that will enable different departments to share its benefits.
It also plans to offer a software package, which will keep track of usage by department, cost centre, project or individual employee and help allocate and re-charge actual costs.
Rob Taylor, sales director of XMA Print Solutions, said: "Saving money is a key concern for any healthcare provider. Recognising this need, we have established a separate organisation within the XMA group which focuses specifically on print solutions to help our clients achieve these objectives.
"It might not seem like an obvious cost-saver but, due to rapid advancements in print technologies, an efficiently managed print system has been proven to save an average 20-30 per cent on costs whilst providing a 35-40 per cent reduction in carbon - a healthy chunk of any healthcare budget."
XMA Print Solutions is set to hire over 100 staff including technical specialists, account and project managers, helpdesk operators, engineers and marketing support.
