SALES MANAGER HOME COUNTIES - EAST
FULL TIME
We are looking for an experienced, dynamic and motivated Sales Manager to lead our Home Counties (East) Sales Team.
Role Summary
To ensure that the Home Counties (East) Sales Team has the capability, direction and support to exceed Xeretec goals whilst maintaining the motivation, commitment and retention of the sales force. To provide leadership to the sales team by demonstrating a strong understanding of the customers, industry and business environments in order to develop and implement account strategies which position Xeretec as a trusted business partner. To maximise customer spend through the effective sale of Xeretec Services, Solutions and Products across the complete portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
• To develop a market and account engagement plan for the team that is consistent with the Xeretec Group Sales Strategy.
• To deploy appropriate sales resource to support the delivery of the engagement plan.• To lead, develop and support team members by acting as the centre of competence.
• To take ownership of the sales plan, ensuring that a robust outlook process is in place and achieved prospects developed and tracked, key shortfalls to plan identified and remedial actions developed.
• To actively support sales cycles and major customer engagement by bringing specific knowledge and experience to the opportunity. Initiate and develop customer engagement events to broaden the prospect base
• Deliver profitable revenue streams with a balanced business performance through the effective management and leadership of a high performing team
• Identify, develop and maintain business relationships with key influencers and decision makers, up to CEO, within identified accounts, promoting the quality image of Xeretec within the marketplace and delivery of the Xeretec MPS and EPS services and solutions strategy.
Experience:
• Successful sales experience in a high pressure, high workload environment.
• Successful proven track record in negotiating high value products/services or solutions/software contracts.
• Educated to ‘A’ level (minimum) standard with an excellent grasp of written and spoken English.
• Effective communication, negotiation and influencing skills, especially visioning at Board/Senior levels.
• Proven Management Experience of a Sales Team.Skills:
• Ability to establish and maintain relationships with key influencers and decision makers.
• Can identify strategic opportunities and energise resources appropriately.
• Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and decision-making ability.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Flexible and able to cope under pressure.
• Positive “can do” attitudes, creative thinker, pioneer to implement successful sales strategies.
• Financial acumen and the ability to create and lead deal making.
• Personal drive and motivation to succeed.
• PC Literate including Word, PowerPoint and especially Excel.
