With the print industry and the customers they serve demanding even more versatility, at this year’s Print Show 2019, Xeretec (Stand: B30) will demonstrate how its digital solutions can drive profitability for printers of all sizes. Showcasing four Xerox devices – plus exciting new speciality toners – Xeretec’s stand will also feature EFI’s digital front end technology and XMPie’s and Xerox’s FreeFlow software. Xeretec will demonstrate how these meet the market requirement for workflow, cross media, colour management, job submission tools, automation, Web2Print and digital enhancement solutions. For visitors enticed by what they see on Xeretec’s stand, they’re encouraged to take advantage of special pricing for deals signed at the Print Show.
Xeretec is marking its fourth year at the Print Show with the presence of the Xerox C60, a professional multifunction printer that offers print speeds of up to 60 colour pages per minute, and up to 65 black and white pages per minute. With specialty printing one of the fastest-growing digital segments - opening up expanded possibilities for designers, printers, and print buyers - the C60 is ideally engineered to capitalise on this exciting trend. Of particular note to new and existing C60 customers, is the recent introduction of new speciality Vivid Toners. These enable users of the C60 to now print in gold, silver, white and clear. This increased versatility means that the C60 is a great entry point into the embellishment/digital enhancement market, helping even smaller printers to offer their customers an even richer and more diverse range of finishes.
Set to further impress attendees, is the critically-acclaimed Xerox® IridesseTM Press. It offers an exciting gamut of gold, silver, clear and white inks, in addition to the conventional CMYK offering. It creates stunning, never-seen-before effects by mixing silver or gold with CMYK tints to create brilliant, iridescent palettes, bringing a new world of print opportunities to printers and their customers alike. The Xerox® IridesseTM enables designers and marketers to unleash their full creativity and is likely to keep customers returning for its eye-catching and unmatched special effects. Plus, Xeretec will also be showing Iridesse’sTM extra-long print capabilities of up to 1.2m.
Despite its sophistication, the Iridesse has been designed with ease of maintenance in mind, which Xeretec will demonstrate to visitors at the show daily at 14.00, when it changes the inks on the Iridesse.
Joining the Xerox Iridesse on Xeretec’s stand, will be Xerox solutions already popular with printers for their ability to meet a diverse range of print and finishing needs. These include the Xerox Versant 180, which combines performance, quality and results in an easy to use, accurate and automated press. Visitors to the Xeretec stand will also be able to assess the Xerox Versant 3100, which offers offset digital printing from a robust production press, delivering speeds of up to 100ppm, making it ideal for larger volumes.
Adding further flexibility to the capabilities of these devices, will be solutions from XMPie software and FreeFlow Core software from Xerox, both of which will be demonstrated on Xeretec’s stand. The XMPie software has been developed to add more value to the printed page and to that end XMPie will be highlighting how its solutions are suited to printers’ omni-channel marketing, variable data printing and web-2-print requirements. Working with any print press, unlike other silo solutions, it can be extended and customised to fit any print environment.
FreeFlow Core software by Xerox is a prepress automation platform that automates the process steps needed to prepare a job for print. It helps boost efficiency by building and saving workflows for common print jobs using an easy-to-use drag and drop interface. It also helps speed up output and reduce errors by ensuring every operator prints jobs the same way. To help users add digital embellishments to existing print jobs, FreeFlow Core has pre-built workflows which enables users to automatically change elements to clear, white, silver and gold without the need for a graphic designer.
As well as having demonstrations of XMPie and FreeFlow Core displayed on attention-grabbing, large screens throughout the show, Xeretec will also exhibit the perfect marriage of print hardware and software; it will showcase how XMPie, FreeFlow Core and the Xerox® IridesseTM combine to create an integrated workflow. To show the workflow’s speed and flexibility, Xeretec will prepare output personalised to reflect the details of interested attendees.
With so much to see and admire, those attendees intrigued to view Xeretec’s products and services on its stand at the Print Show 2019, can also enjoy its copious seating areas as well as the attraction of free coffee and refreshments.
